Scrap tastic Tuesday

After a prolonged absence from blogging (whoops - sometimes I just need to disappear for a bit!) this scraptastic Tuesday link up really appealed to me.  We'll ignore the fact that it's Wednesday, Leanne and Nicky are being kind enough to allow the slow bloggers like me a couple of weeks to catch up!

I love scraps, in fact they are pretty much all I have in terms of fabric, not really having a stash of larger pieces of fabric, I buy what I really really need when I need it (e.g. backing fabric), and somehow or other I seem to accumulate scraps and other fabric that people give me, or I recycle clothes etc.

This Rainbow quilt is I think my largest scrappy make.  It was a wedding present for one of my friends who got married in September.

Small scraps are also great for little charity makes - these are 'wiggly bags' sent to Devon for the Olivia Holmes foundation.

And every month I happily use up my scraps making bee blessed blocks.  This block was from July.  In September I got so carried away that I made 6 blocks using strips of fabric I found in my scrap box - but I forgot to take any photos of them!

Right, I'm off to see what you've all made with your scraps
