Odd Socks!

I am claiming these as scrappy makes, although I know the pieces of fabric used are quite large.....

I don't have much Christmas fabric so thought I would struggle to make these stocking for the charity that the EMMQG are supporting this year.  But a good clear out of the scrap box revealed I did have some little pieces of Christmassy fabric, so I delved around for greens and reds to go with them and used what Christmas fabric I did have to make the tops.  The wadding was all left overs from the edges of the quilt I made for my Mum, so I am pleased with these.

These stockings will go to the families of babies in St Thomas' Hospital intensive care unit. The stockings will be filled with goodies for the parents and babies.

  4. I am certain scraps don't have to be all small as many scrappy quilts use bigger pieces. These are lovely and what a fun project to be a part of.
