I'm linking up with Lily's fresh sewing day, so what did I make in March??
Mainly it was a month of bee blocks and birthday presents (cushions and aprons). Plus some QAYG.
There were two things that I almost didn't show as I was so unhappy with them! My bee block for Rachel, which had all the points cut off.
And this oval zippy box - which looked so fab in the pattern, was such a git to make, and ended up looking dreadful - won't be making one of those again.
In non-sewing related news...... our Easter day out was to Twycross Zoo - where I was spat at by a Dinosaur!!

Looks like a great month, I want to hear more about the oval box though, what made it so bad?
ReplyDeletelove that oval box you made Tanya
ReplyDeleteWell, I am pleased with my pretty liberty block! Thank you so much for making it for me, Tanya.
ReplyDeleteThe oval box doesn't look so bad either, but getting zips round strange curves can be a pig! Well done for being brave enough to try it!
xx
The oval box looks pretty darn impressive to me!
ReplyDeleteThings can only get better. Your response to your oval box reminds me how I felt when I tried a frame purse!
ReplyDeleteYou've had a very productive month. I have always looked at those oval/round pouch patterns and thought yep right not for me! Loving the last picture x
